Doug DuBois

Doug DuBois is married to Susan DuBois, and has been a committed albinism advocate since the birth of his children: Nick in 2000, and Katy in 2002. Doug has been an active member of the National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation (NOAH) since 2000, and has served on the NOAH Board of Directors since 2006.
As a NOAH board member, Doug has served on the Financial Development Committee to develop long-term fundraising plans, and has coordinated fundraising efforts in the DC area. He has also helped develop and coordinate NOAH’s bi-annual national conference. Together with Susan, Doug is a founding member of NOAH’s Washington, D.C. area chapter.
In addition to his work in the albinism community, Doug has served on a local county conservation advisory committee, and was appointed for a two-year term to a school district committee on special education. Doug also volunteers as a math tutor, is active in his local PTA, and currently sits on the county-wide Advisory Committee for Instruction of his local school district.
Doug is from Springfield, Illinois, and holds degrees in philosophy and political science from Illinois Wesleyan University. He is a Contract Management Program Analyst specializing in small business issues with the General Services Administration. Doug lives with his wife and two children in Arlington, Virginia.
