We are very excited to be participating in the first albinism awareness conference in Uganda this month! Our partners, Source of the Nile Union of Persons with Albinism (SNUPA), along with Advantage Africa, are hosting the conference on November 24th to highlight successful strategies in reducing the impact of stigma on people with albinism.

Our program manager Naomi Muganwa and our dermatologist  Dr. Harry Mpewo will travel with four leaders with albinism from their communities to Kampala to participate in the conference. We look forward to hearing from them, and implementing new strategies and creating new partnerships.
