Today I booked my tickets to go to Tanzania.  I am incredibly nervous, but very excited.  I have no idea what to expect, but have already been warned about the masiki, or torrential rains — and the “Lions of Tsavo” – who reportedly ate either 35 or 135 men in 1898 – depending on your source.

And I was worried about the witch doctors.
